It’s never been about me - it’s always been about your night.

I didn’t learn this craft from a manual. I learned it in the deep end - from my days as a resident DJ at Ringlets in Harlow, Essex, through to years of mobile discos, seasonal parties, and contract gigs. Back in the 80s, there were no playlists or safety nets. You had to read the room, know when to lift the energy, and when to hold back. That instinct has stayed with me ever since.

Those roots taught me the art of timing and atmosphere. Today, I combine that old-school crowd-reading skill with modern tech, professional sound, and advanced programmable lighting. The result? A show that feels slick, polished, and completely tailored to you - never just “another disco.”

Musically, I’ve never been tied to one genre. My sets span everything from 50s rock & roll and Motown, through 70s disco and 80s anthems, into 90s and 00s pop, indie, and R&B, and right up to today’s chart hits. And when the night calls for it, I’ll drop in the audience-participation classics that get everyone involved - from YMCA to Feeling Hot Hot Hot, Jingo and even Oops Upside Your Head. Those tracks, used at just the right moment, can turn a party into pure magic.

Some people know me as DJ Bald Bandit - “stealing the dance floor one track at a time.” But whether it’s a wedding, a milestone birthday, or a children’s party, the truth is the same: I get emotionally invested in your event. It’s never just another booking. It’s your event, your memories, your story - and my job is to help make it unforgettable.
