My name is John Hill, and I’ve been DJing since the 1980s - starting out on vinyl and learning the true art of reading a crowd. Those roots shaped the way I work today: every event is about atmosphere, timing, and creating the kind of moments people talk about long after the night ends.

At Starlight Roadshow, I take the time to get to know you before the big day. You don’t need to worry about the technical side -  that’s my job. What matters is understanding your tastes, the feel you want for your event, and any special touches that will make it personal. From there, I design the music and lighting to flow seamlessly and bring your vision to life.

My sound and lighting setups are fully scalable, so I can adapt to any venue — from cosy pubs and small function rooms to large wedding halls and community events. And if you’re looking for something a little different, I sometimes add an extra touch of theatre by dressing to match a theme or setlist when the occasion calls for it.

Professionalism comes as standard. Starlight Roadshow is a registered Limited Company, fully insured, DBS checked, and I’m a proud member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ)  giving you complete peace of mind that your celebration is in safe hands.
